What is your major? If undecided, what field(s) are you considering? – Anthropology, with a double minor in Leadership and Civic Engagement & Social Justice

What are your career and educational goals? – I would love to be either a professor of Anthropology or a Historian. I am looking towards earning a Ph.D.!

What are you most looking forward to about coming to CNU? – I am looking forward to meeting new, wonderful people and the expanded amounts of opportunities that will aid me in my future joys.

Please list the top three service areas or populations you are interested in working with as a Bonner. – Environment & Animals, International Interest, and Support Services

What are you most looking forward to about being a Bonner? – I am beyond excited to be given the opportunity to explore service in depth with a community of like-minded individuals.

What past service experience has impacted you the most? – While in California visiting my aunt and uncle, I volunteered with them to serve food to some of the homeless population of Los Angeles. The gratefulness of the individuals I met and the warmth of the community created between the volunteers and those they served was inspiring and an indicator of not only empathy but passion for people.

What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of academics and Bonner? – I love to read, paint, write, and play/listen to music. I especially love historical fiction, poetry, and music from the 40s-80s.

If you were a comfort food, what would you be? – I would definitely be a chocolate chip muffin

Share a little known fact about yourself. – My nickname is Sassafras Ferntickles…(sassafras like the tree; sweet and spice, ferntickles is the Irish word for freckles!)
