Course Description: This interdisciplinary course places the study of women, gender, and sexuality at the center of the curriculum. By focusing on the intersections of gender with race, class, sexuality, ethnicity, and nation, we will also recognize the manifestations of power and privilege in everyday life. Among the topics we will address are feminist history and theory; work, welfare, and poverty; body image, health care, and reproductive rights; violence; globalization; and the future of feminism
