FOUR easy steps towards engaging in your community….
1. Enroll
Create a CNU Engage account, subscribe to our newsletter, and follow us on social media. To sign up for the CNU Engage newsletter and follow us on social media, scroll down to the bottom of the CNU Engage website page.
2. Explore
There are several resources to help you find your service home. You can access these through the CNU Engage website or by visiting our office in the David Student Union.
- Learn about the Center’s ten different Service Tracks.
- Look at the Center’s 120+ Community Partners listed by service track or browse all available.
- Set up a meeting with Center staff, a student Service Track Coordinator, or a Site Team Leader.
- Attend our Discover & Serve Newport News Fair in September.
- Get involved with one of the CNU Engage Recognized Service Organizations.
3. Engage
Attend a CNU Engage 101 workshop, read Volunteer Ethics and Etiquette information on the CNU Engage website, and coordinate and start serving with your Community Partner or CNU Engage Recognized Service Organization.
4. Enter
Enter ALL of your service hours in your CNU Engage account, whether completed in Hampton Roads, at home, or abroad. You could be eligible to graduate with Service Distinction Honors!
